Genius Brands Will Launch 'Kartoon Channel! Kidaverse’ in April

Genius Brands International, a California-based children's media company, has announced its plans to launch the subscription-based video-on-demand platform, 'Kartoon Channel! Kidaverse,' on April 15. According to the company, the new kids-focused video platform will be backed by technology acquired from Ameba TV.
The streaming service will include all of the programs featured on the Kartoon Channel!, in addition to all-new exclusive content that will be rolled out in phases. The platform will boast an integrated Netflix-like design and fun features such as custom avatars, emojis, exclusive games, NFTs for kids, and immersive content compatible with VR headsets.
Genius Brands will still offer a free, ad-supported version of the Kartoon Channel!. However, these customers will not have access to the perks of the new commercial-free version that according to the CEO of Genius Brand, Andy Heyward, aims to be "the 360-degree kid’s digital media platform of the future."
