Karl Templer has married the edginess of city fashion and the elegance of the ballroom in this ‘The Cool’ collection. The collection features pieces like fishnets, army-green jackets, toques and chains that are perfect for fall fashion. The elegance of pieces like distressed pants are brought out by a sequined shirt and a jeweled crown.

The photographer Craig McDean captured the apparel using both monochrome and color photography and each has a different effect. The color expresses the lights and party life of the city while the monochrome seems to bring out the sophistication of the more classic pieces.

The collection shows the perfect balance between end of summer airy materials and vibrant colors and the furs jackets, leather boots and floral jackets that come out in autumn. Each piece shows the timelessness of fashion, bringing back old details like studs, puffy shoulders and canvas sneakers.
