World-renowned designer Karim Rashid is consistently creating a plethora of designs and objects to fill his ever-expanding portfolio of amazing work. His latest piece is called the 'Knowledge in the Brain' bookends and it offers both a clever and stylish way to holster your reading material.
The bookends are made out of rubber-coated stone resin and they measure in at 7.75″ tall. The head splits in two and you put your books in between. What's unique about the head though is that it's painted gold where the brain would go. This acts as a metaphor for the value placed on an educated mind. In the end, the bookends by Karim Rashid are perfect for any reader and contemporary home.
