The K-141 Kursk Tragedy Will be Told in a New Video Game

Kursk is the newest game from Jujubee Studios and tells the story of the sinking of the K-141 Kursk. This historical first-person adventure follows the tragedy surrounding the 2000 sinking of the Russian Navy Submarine and the 118 sailors trapped on board. The game will put players in control of a spy aboard the ship, whose goal is to gain information about the ship's unique torpedo technology. With so much information about the tragedy still unknown, the developers do have some wiggle room and the story reflects this.

Kursk is being hailed by Jujubee Studios as the "first fully fledged adventure-documentary game in history" and as such, attention to detail is a primary concern of the studio. The interior of the K-141 Kursk will be faithfully rendered, and the studio hopes that players will not only be entertained by the game, but also informed by it. Kursk is set to be an incredibly immersive experience that tells an almost unknown story. The game is expecting a release in 2018 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac.
