United 1944 is a World War II-themed multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) game developed and published by Spanish game studio Novarama. The game is set to launch on early access on Steam on December 12, 2023, following an open beta that ran until November 19, 2023. United 1944 is Novarama’s first FPS game, after previously creating the successful augmented reality game Invizimals.
The game promises a dynamic and immersive WWII experience, combining shooter action, strategy, and survival elements. Players can choose between two game modes: Domination, where they fight for territory in 16v16 urban guerrilla battles, and Survivor, where they explore a city in ruins as a lone wolf. The game features realistic settings, such as France and North Africa, and more than 20 weapons and 40 skills to customize the hero. The game also allows players to scavenge for resources, craft weapons and equipment, fortify bases, and defend outposts. The game is priced at $19.99 USD and is available for Windows PC.
