The Harrods 'Junior Collections Rooms' will cater to the needs and tastes of 10-16 year old shoppers. The British specialty store has been a forerunner of luxury fashion, beauty and accessories, leading it to the doors of unexplored style niches.

The tween market is rarely the focus of haute couture emporiums as the demographic lacks the means for investment in upscale pieces. In spite of the norm, Harrods has brought Gucci, Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger and Armani on board, creating a shift towards younger crowds at some of the top design houses.

Curators of the posh online site Stardoll will launch a debut installation in the store, celebrating the event alongside photo booths and a live DJ. Customers are invited to try on exclusive ensembles by Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano and Sonia Rykiel within the exhibit.
