Joyn Offers Online Fitness Classes with a Focus on Inclusivity

Joyn is a new online fitness platform with a focus on accessibility and body neutrality. Currently, the app offers a wide range of body-inclusive, live exercise classes that range from ten minutes to one hour in length.

Classes are offered in yoga, high-intensity interval training, pilates, stretching, and more. What makes the app so unique, however, is that all of the classes are designed using movement patterns that can be done standing, sitting, or laying down, making it an accessible fitness option for most people.

In addition, the instructors chosen to host the classes are intended to represent a wide range of body sizes and identities. Again, this is in contrast to most exercise platforms, which tend to rely on instructors with idealized body types that, unfortunately, can end up intimidating or alienating many fitness newcomers.

Lastly, Joyn is even able to stand out amidst other body-inclusive fitness platforms by offering an entirely free membership tier.
