Toronto-based designer Joao Paulo Guedes recently unveiled his Fall/Winter 2016 collection during a runway fashion show at Toronto Men's Fashion Week 2016.
The pieces in this menswear collection range from casual and sleek streetwear to glamorous formal attire. The daring patterns and emerald green accents highlight the attention to detail and showcase the handmade textiles, which were created by the designer himself. This collection was inspired by the idea of evolution and exponential growth. The ultimate theme throughout the collection is bacteria and viruses -- as seen under a microscope.
The experimentation with various patterns allowed the artist to stand out among other designers during Toronto Men's Fashion Week 2016. Joao Paulo Guedes' entire line can be viewed on the brand's official website where consumers can purchase items from this -- and other collections.
