The Jil Sander FW 2012 Show at Milan features grungy grouping of leather and textured tweeds.
The menswear featured in the Jil Sander FW show features a lot of leather. From suits to pants to full on matrix-looking jackets, styles were cut into the buttery fabric. Not only is the fabric a daring fashion, but the silhouettes of the pieces are intensely contemporary. Particularly memorable pieces include a crew neck pullover in smooth hide, a long wispy trench coat with a waist belt, and a full black matte suit. The modernity of the collection keeps it sleek, but the grungy undertones make the series somewhat curious.
The models were made to look like secret agents scouring the dirty under belly of a city. The backdrop featured well-worn walls and graffiti detailing. The models toted newspapers and paper bags. Debuted at Milan Men's Fashion Week 2012, the Jil Sander FW 2012 collection is extremely daring.
