In order to do justice to the great hands and minds of art history through a product, it certainly doesn't hurt to recruit a contemporary member of the art history pantheon, and that's just what's been done with the Jeff Koons Louis Vuitton collaboration. The series, which is simply titled 'Masters,' includes handbags, totes, purses, backpacks, and scarves with printed takes on classic paintings.

Beyond simple homage, Koons puts his signature subversive mark on the piece in the Masters collection. For instance, the bags are all tagged with a silhouette of one of Koons' most famous sculptures, the inflatable Rabbit, and the iconic Louis Vuitton 'LV' logo is supplemented by a 'JK' done in the same style in the opposite corner.
