This helmet cam footage of the Jed Milton triple backflip from this past Saturday gives viewers a firsthand look at what it's like to make history. The stunt took place in New Zealand at the Unit T3 Mindtricks BMX Jam is the first time any BMX rider has been able to successfully land a triple backflip.
To land his triple backflip, Milton cycled down a 66-foot ramp. The 24-year-old had this to say about his incredible jump: "The impact and implications hasn't sunken in yet, but I'm so pumped to have aimed for something once deemed impossible and made my dream a reality." The Guinness Book of World Records was on hand to certify the Jed Milton triple backflip as the first of its kind in the world.
