A collaboration between rap legend Jay Z and electronic music royalty Daft Punk 'Computerized' has surfaced online. Samsung sponsored Jay Z's most recent album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' yet he raps about his Blackberry indicating the song was probably made before the newest album. It's still unclear as to when exactly the song was recorded but it has been confirmed that it is a legit collaboration.
The song itself -- appropriately titled 'Computerized' -- is a cautionary tale of our reliance to technology. Jay Z's lyrics, "broken heart on the email" and "iTouch but I can't feel" show his complacency of conversations held over technology rather than in person. Also, Daft Punk's electronic sound sets the underlying tone of technology and its influence on culture.
