You usually find that when bowls and trays mix with coffee tables, the former are placed upon the latter. The James Side Table embraces a very different arrangement, as it is literally composed of a broad MDF dish and a circular platter.
It may look small and simple at first but this delightful piece of furniture by Gridy goes above and beyond the regular duties of a couch-side surface. For one, the concave fiberboard container can store books, magazines and small assorted household objects, keeping them entirely out of view in the barely discernible bulge below.
On top, the round panel can be removed to access the items inside the James Side Table thanks to cutout handles. When set in place it acts as a convenient surface for drinks and food and can be employed freely as a separate serving tray to be passed around the room.
