Relaxing Beachside Boutique Hotels

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

The James Bradley by George DiStefano is a Tranquil Escape

— May 10, 2024 — Art & Design
The James Bradley is a tranquil hotel right along the beachside of the Atlantic Ocean right on Bradley Beach. The boutique space has gone through a big renovation which transforms the 17-room space first built 118 years ago.

The project is led by the owner of the hotel, George DiStefano with the help of Manhattan-based interior designer Sebastian Zuchowicki. The result of the restoration reimagines the idea of a bed and breakfast by infusing the space with a local charm elevated by international sophistication.

DiStefano explains the design, “I wanted to create an experience that captured the essence of the Jersey Shore, while integrating a timeless and minimalistic design to show the concept that casual living can still feel elegant. Having grown up on the Jersey Shore, my summers were spent at the beach. When I first saw the property, formerly ‘The Sandcastle Inn,’ in May of 2021, I had an inexplicable feeling that I could make it something special. A year later, it became a reality that exceeded my expectations and I could not be more excited.”
