Although Italian bars are often associated with being rather warm and cozy, the UNTO restaurant in Palermo is designed to be a brooding space for relaxing and enjoying some consumables without fuss. Designed by design firm DIDEA, the UNTO restaurant is characterized by the lamps that adorn the walls around the space; as they are completely moveable, the lighting can be changed on a daily basis an infinity of times.
Serving up deliciously greasy eats and refreshing beverages, the UNTO restaurant has a number of raw aesthetics ranging from the steel stools, to the wooden counters. These features work together to create a space that's indeed functional, but also beautiful enough to sit casually in for a few hours with friends.
