Parisian agency Marcel created an interactive audio book to celebrate the 'Week of Eroticism' at the 'FNAC' bookstore. The installation involved a wall with passages from Lady Chatterley's 'Lover' on it, which would be read aloud in a sensual woman's voice "at the exact pace of the touch" as customers passed their hands over the words.
The letters on the interactive wall made use of "granular synthesis motion" detectors, which were engineered specifically for this event. This interactive audio book is especially perfect for an erotic novel, as it creates a deeper connection with its listeners by engaging multiple senses at once. As text is read in just one direction, as customers followed the story, this installation led customers to FNAC's erotic novel section.
