Innovative 3D Printers

Quantica has Unveiled a 3D Printer That Uses Inkjet Materials

'Quantica' is a 3D printing company that has developed a new line of innovative 3D printers. The 'T1 Pro' is the current culmination of its research. While traditional 3D printers use a resin-like substance and current Inkjet 3D printers subsidize fluids with high molecular weight polymers, the T1 Pro utilizes more standard Inkjet fluids for 3D printing.

Previous issues with Inkjet 3D printing have fallen on the jetting systems being incapable of using standard Inkjet fluids for a 3D printing job, but Quantica has overcome this issue with innovative, brute-force jetting systems. Quantica claims that the Inkjet fluids it uses are "up to 15 times more viscous" than current Inkjet competitors.

Additionally, the use of traditional Inkjet fluids for 3D printing means that the T1 Pro is capable of handling both more colors and more materials in its printing tasks. The T1 Pro is also now capable of printing "class II medical device materials" that are usable in real-world dental procedures.
