Venezuelan rum brand Santa Teresa teamed up with The Bitter Truth to make cacao-infused cocktail bitters that are perfect for enhancing the walnut, coffee and cacao notes in the brand's distilled spirit. The Bitter Truth Santa Teresa 1796 Cacao Bitters were expressly created with traditional methods to enhance Santa Teresa 1796 cocktails.

To show off the qualities of the new cocktail bitters, Santa Teresa created a new signature serve called The Aragua Old Fashioned, inspired by a region that's known for its cacao production. The Santa Teresa 1796 cocktail is simple and calls only for ingredients like demerara sugar syrup, the new cacao-infused bitters and a piece of orange zest as a garnish to complete the drink.
