Shocking Video Game Promos

PlayStation Electrocuted Users for a Chance to Win inFAMOUS: Second Son

In order to win inFAMOUS: Second Son, a new game that's recently come out for PlayStation, users had to stick both fingers into sockets for at least five seconds. Sounds easy right? Not when electrical volts begin to surge through your fingers and into your body.

PlayStation wanted to get across the idea of power and strength to users to promote its inFAMOUS: Second Son game. If participants were able to keep their fingers in the sockets for five seconds, they would win a game. Although many people attempted this challenge, few made it to the finish line. Having voltage run through one's body is not the most pleasant thing in the world, so it seems like only die-hard fans were able to push themselves through and win the grand prize.
