FILA Debuted Its First Solo Showcase at Milan Fashion Week

FILA took its first-ever solo collection to the Milan Fashion Week runways -- the new inaugural streetwear series blends together its sportswear heritage with elevated sophistication. The label is often recognized for its active elements, but over recent years, it has stepped into the forefront of streetwear as well. There are infusions of urban sensibilities in its pieces, leading it to its first runway show. The show began with some monochromatic pieces before colors like red and blue were incorporated.

The highlighting focus is FILA's selection of lightweight outerwear options in preparation for the dropping temperatures. There is a range of tonal blazers, clean overcoats and Harrington-style zips. Not to sway far from its heritage, there's also a selection of tennis shirts, raincoats, tracksuits and accessories.

To top it all off, FILA worked with HYPEBEAST to drop a special magazine diving into the label's archives dating back to 1962 -- highlighting its roots as an undergarment manufacturer, then growing into sportswear, footwear and now high fashion.
