This Airport Allows Travelers to Download Movies Before Their Flight

The GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) recently teamed up with the startup Fropcorn to launch an in-airport entertainment initiative designed to keep travelers entertained while they wait for their flight. As air travel becomes increasingly accessible to consumers, there is a growing demand for services that help travelers make their most of the time spent in airports.

GHIAL's in-airport entertainment system involves a special WiFi hotspot located near the security area in the domestic terminal. Those who have downloaded the Fropcorn app can then connect to the hotspot to access a library containing hundreds of popular movies in multiple languages. These movies can be purchased and downloaded in just minutes so that users can enjoy their film while waiting for their flight and even during the flight itself.

The new app ultimately helps to makes the airport experience more pleasant for passengers by giving them additional entertainment options.
