Many of us spend the majority of our days in a seated position which can wreak havoc on our posture, so the 'INA' Chair has been designed as a way to combat against this. Featuring a very minimalistic design, the chair features just two intersecting portions of wood that offer a spot to sit either frontwards or backwards, depending on preference or desire. This automatically pushes you to sit up straight and stop you from slouching when seated at a desk or a table.
The 'INA' Chair is the design work of Miroslav Truben and identifies how more functionality can be infused into a simple product design by removing all of the various complexities. As design preferences shift towards minimalism in the mainstream market, we'll likely continue to observe this.
