Critics are buzzing about a new art series entitled 'In the Playroom' by Jonathan Hobin. Although its title may sound simplistically innocent, the photo series actually features depictions of political events from recent history.

Including unfortunate events such as "9/11" and other all-too-familiar political circumstances. This 'In the Playroom' series by Jonathan Hobin definitely gives its audience plenty to think about.

Implications - Hobin says of his work, "I want people to acknowledge the fact that kids see the scariest things that are out there.” The fact that children are like sponges and soak up everything around them is an interesting thing to think about since so much violence and issues within society are televised on a daily basis.
