Bandit Burger Joints

Illegal Burger Gets Some Design Help From The Metric System

Illegal Burger is a small burger joint in Oslo, Norway that recently got an overhaul of design work by The Metric System design studio. The little restaurant offers high-quality burgers fresh off a charcoal grill for a low price. The name Illegal Burger was inspired by the space they occupy, as it used to be a "no-licensed hole-in-the-wall bar," according to The Metric System.

Illegal Burger's packaging was given a cartooned cast of fast food crooks that can be seen plastered on the individual burger wrappers, bags, boxes and menus. The boxes are decorated with stickers while the Illegal Burger takeout bags are printed with rubber stamps. The quirky illustrations were created by Frode Skaren. The Metric System also gave Illegal Burger a wicked interior design, worked on by Al Coulson.
