Ilchester, a British cheese brand, launched two new vegan cheese products. To promote the latest additions to its range, the cheese company offered UK customers exclusive free samples ahead of its launch on July 5th, 2021.
Since the company unveiled its Vegan Fastice Selection last Christmas, consumers have requested more of the cheese brand's vegan options. According to PBN, Lisa Harrison, Ilchester was "overwhelmed by customers asking us if we were going to launch the Ilchester Vegan Blue and the Ilchester Vegan Melting Mature as standalone cheeses this year."
In response to high demand, the brand launched the Vegan Blue and Vegan Melting Mature in the summer. The Blue includes spirulina to mimic the look of blue cheese, while the Melting Mature boasts the same melting capabilities as dairy cheddar cheese.
