Free Family Hotel Getaways

A U.K-Based Hotel Company is Offering Free Rooms for Senior Citizens

'IHG Hotels,' the British hospitality company headquartered in Windsor, England, launched a new promotion across the U.K and Western Europe that allows families with senior relatives to book free rooms. The promotion is valid at 35 locations across the regions, with various IHG hotel brands included in the deal.

The promotion offers families the opportunity to book two rooms for a two-day-two-night stay while getting the more affordable of the two rooms at no charge to the consumer. This promotion is intended to encourage familial bonding and reconnecting in the post-pandemic world.

Dr. Audrey Tang, a psychologist who worked with IHG Hotels on crafting the promotion, states that "Lack of human physical contact can result in lower levels of happiness, higher reports of depression and stress, but as restrictions have lifted, people can once again come together to embrace life and each other, change their environments and create new memories and experiences as a family."
