IHG Hotels & Resorts Presents Chalet Programming and Holiday Activations

Chalet Programming is returning to IHG Hotels & Resorts as part of its seasonal 'Winter Chalet' experience across its 'Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio.' This year’s offerings allow guests at participating hotels to engage in 'Chalet Day' experiences on December 21, celebrating the Winter Solstice. Notably, activities will include "seasonal programming, creative culinary offerings, specialty cocktail menus, and a curated IHG Winter Chalet playlist."

To maximize daylight hours on the Winter Solstice, participating hotels will provide complimentary early check-in and late check-out, subject to request and availability. Additionally, a “Winter Hour” will be introduced, moving happy hour to 4:30 PM, allowing guests to enjoy drinks as the sun sets.

Specific offerings during Winter Hour will vary by brand—for instance, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will feature the Singapore Sling cocktail, while InterContinental Hotels & Resorts will serve a complimentary Freezer Martini. Furthermore, Hotel Indigo will provide light bites and beverages, including a Bourbon and Bean cocktail.
