The Skýli is a Shelter Built for Iceland's Trekking Trails

Iceland's famously diverse landscape provides travelers with the perfect opportunity for a unique adventure-based experience, which is why the Stockholm-based company, Utopia Arkitekter, has designed bright blue shelters, which can be installed along Iceland's trekking trails.

The off-grid shelters can be assembled in less than three days and take the form of a traditional tent shape, to offer travelers an authentic and familiar experience. Each structure can accommodate 15 people and is comprised of four rooms, including two bedrooms a kitchen and a first aid room in the event of an emergency. The cabins let in ample natural light, and provide an amazing opportunity for guests to marvel at the scenery.
