Although the idea of creating ice cream sandwiches out of donuts is not exactly new, Krispy Kreme Australia has found a way to make the creamy treats a bit easier to consume.
The new Ice Cream Slider Donuts are hybrid treats available in two tantalizing flavors: Kookies & Kreme and Salted Caramel. The Kookies & Kreme slider consists of an Original Glazed slider donut stuffed with Cookies & Cream ice cream and then topped with chocolate sundae sauce and chocolate cookie crumbs. On the other hand, the Salted Caramel slider features the same Original Glazed slider donut, but with a Salted Caramel ice cream filling, caramel sundae sauce and vanilla cookie crumbs. To make the ice cream sandwiches easy to consume, each is served in a handy Krispy Kreme tray.
