Allowing bikers to carry their iPhones on them as they tackle the open road, the iBike Rider will make it easier to be an Easy Rider (and easier to reach one, too).
The iBike Rider is an iPhone case made specifically for “hog owners,” according to Cult of Mac. The weather-proof case attaches to the arm with straps and phone conversations can be piped into the helmet for an extra fee. All fine and dandy, but the iBike Rider reminds me of the scene in ‘Wild Hogs’ (starring John Travolta and Tim Allen) when the over-the-hill bikers decide to toss their phones in exchange for the media-free open road. Somehow that just seems more the style of an Easy Rider…
