The Hyde Park Houses in South Africa allow the residences to change the layout and details of certain sections to suit their flexible needs. Daffonchio + Associate Architects added in a few extra details that really helped to make the house as versatile as possible, while still being suitable for the weather in the area.
For example, "the sliding glass windows, doors, and timber shutters enable the owners to constantly change the spaces to suit their activities, the weather and time," according to DesignBoom. Although these details seem small, it's the intricate items that really help an individual make a space their own, and change it to their adapting needs. This is exactly what has been done at the Hyde Park Houses.
