The name of the Hybrid Humidifier references the fact that it is a mix of natural and artificial elements. The unorthodox air purifier incorporates moss to give it an earthy undertone that outdoorsy people will especially love. It also addresses the common use of moss as a humidifier alternative. In this way, the Hybrid Humidifier will appeal to a larger demographic.

Designed by Giha Woo, an industrial designer based in South Korea, the Hybrid Humidifier takes on the form of a simple bowl. Great for all sorts of existing home decor, it is both traditional and contemporary. The designer writes, "The electric part of the humidifier plays a role to water the moss, while when it is tuned off, moss functions as natural humidifier."
