The Houndstooth Valet may look like a glorified step stool at first glance, but it's really meant as a clothing rack. Or perhaps a better term is clothing display. The Houndstooth Valet acknowledges the fact that many people would rather dump their clothes on the floor than put them neatly away in drawers and closets even though the mess will end up driving them crazy. It offers a middle ground that allows them to dump the clothes in a neater fashion.

Designed by Jonathan Dorthe for Atelier-D, the Houndstooth Valet is made out of a maple wood frame and two black acrylic shelves. The plastic trays are perforated with a houndstooth pattern, in reference to the fashion world.
