The Canadian Hotel de Glace hotel is made entirely of frozen water blocks. The lodge has been an iconic tourist getaway for 13 years, consistently reinterpreting is magical snow globe qualities.
To celebrate the launch of this year’s Hotel de Glace, the designers modeled the structure upon Jules Verne’s Journey to the Center of the Earth. Titled A Journey to the Center of Winter, it in many ways ushers guests upon a quest through the coldest depths of the season, a quality that Quebec’s City’s residents are largely accustomed to.
This inn will welcome guests up until March 24th. The cold construction theme is representative of a niche architectural sector, preferred in the travel industry for the way in which it attracts crowds in search of memorable experiences.
