Count Benedikt Bolza and his family transformed a castle in the Umbrian hills into the Hotel Castello di Reschio. Bolza restored the 10th-century Italian castle to include 36 suites, a restaurant, and a spa. The historical landmark welcomed its first guests in Spring 2021.
Customer furniture was designed and created to fit the hotel's rich history. Situated on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, the castle took a decade to restore architecturally. As a result, views from the suits are unmatched; some have a picturesque view of the Italian central courtyard garden, while others look out over the rolling hills. The regal rooms are decorated with terracotta brick or wooden floors, hand-stitched linen curtains, Italian fabrics, and locally crafted marble and brass vanities.
