Bimbo Bakeries Bakes Mike's Hot Honey Into Sara Lee White Bread

Bimbo Bakeries USA is bringing hot honey to packaged bread with the limited-time 'Sara Lee Mike's Hot Honey Half Loaf,' designed for home sandwich makers who want sweet heat built into each slice. The bread incorporates Mike's Hot Honey flavor into Sara Lee white bread, so grilled cheese or breakfast sandwiches do not need a separate drizzle.

It comes as a 12-ounce half loaf with 12 slices. Suggested retail is $2.69. The Sara Lee version is shipping to grocery retailers nationwide, while a matching 'Nature's Harvest Mike's Hot Honey Half Loaf' is limited to California. Both products arrived in October 2026.

The half-loaf format turns a co-branded flavor test into a lower-commitment bread purchase, giving bakery aisles more room to try trend-led flavors in a staple category. California-only placement for Nature's Harvest also lets Bimbo test the same hybridization under a second label without a full national rollout.
