While the iconic Toronto discount store Honest Ed's is no longer selling ceramic mugs and discount sweatshirts, fans will have one last chance to say their goodbyes with an experiential art exhibit called the Honest 6ix Artist Residency.
Over the course of six weeks, six artists will take over Honest Ed's and transform the space into a collaborative art exhibit highlighting the past, present and future of one of Toronto's most iconic landmarks. Each of the multi-disciplinary artists will use their individual talents to create immersive, multisensory experiences within the store. The 'Amazement: Immersive Art Maze' will then be opened up to the public so that Torontonians can say their final goodbyes to the Bloor Street landmark.
With talented artists such as Romana Kassam, Paul Moleiro and Alicia Payne making up the Honest 6ix team, Honest Ed's is sure to receive the memorable send-off it deserves.
