Honda's COVID-19 "mask" for cars may revolutionize the future of the automotive industry, presenting the consumer with a device that can create a COVID-free environment in a short period of time.
It's no secret that the effects of COVID-19 will be felt for years to come, and Honda is jumping ahead of the competition with a device that's designed to keep consumers safe. The piece of technology has been dubbed the 'Kurumask', and can be fitted over one's cabin filter. In just 15 minutes, the Kurumask can rid the air of 99.8 airborne coronavirus droplets.
According to the brand, this project had been in development for a few years prior to the spread of COVID-19, and the pandemic helped to speed up the process. The device made its debut at CES 2021.
