Karl Legerfeld's Holographic Cover for AnOther Magazine is 3D Chic

One-upping itself from last year's LED cover of Rihanna, AnOther magazine has released a holographic cover to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Limited to just 1,000 handcrafted copies, this special edition cover stars fashion icon and designer Karl Lagerfeld.

The holographic cover was conceived by AnOther co-founder Jefferson Hack. The creation by holographer Rob Munday captures the iconic Chanel and Fendi Creative Director in 3D, thanks to the use of 50 individual high-resolution images. The images where interlaced into one ultimate image that was then printed and laminated on the back of a lenticular lens.

Inside the magazine features a 30-page profile on Lagerfeld as well as a Chanel editorial. While limited copies of the collectible holographic cover are available at various retailers, a supersized portrait of the hologram is on display at the colette in Paris.
