The Printemps Haussmann holiday window displays were designed by Karl Lagerfeld to bring about the Christmas spirit for shoppers walking about Chanel’s main store in Paris. Aside from marionette puppets behind window shops, Chanel also brought in performances by violin quartets and dancers. Holiday gift buyers stopped to take in the exciting performance, which was an entertaining break from the hustle and bustle associated with this time of year.
Ariel Weber, who shares an open love for elephants, talks about this innovative way to advertise, as well as her childhood dream of becoming an interior designer. Weber is a journalist and social media intern at Trend Hunter for the fall term of 2012.
