Holiday Inn is taking recycling to the next level. With the help of world record-holding ‘card-stacker’ Bryan Berg, the hotel chain has built a 400 square feet construction in New York out of old room keys. The hotel of cards will be in business until September 21, 2009.
The total number of Holiday Inn room keys used was 200,000, and nothing was left out, from the lobby to the room toilet--although I don’t know if anyone has been brave enough to use it.
