One clothing brand is hoping to make a difference through the launch of H&M World Recycle Week. Set to kick off on April 18th, the initiative is being promoted through a unique way: a music video starring British-Sri Lankan rapper M.I.A. Dubbed Rewear It, the track was written by the rapper for the brand. Clearly created to reach a younger demographic, it also enlisted a cast of “interesting influencers and inspirational people from all over the world," writes the brand.
Although only time will tell if this music video campaign will help make the H&M World Recycle Week a success, it's definitely an interesting route to take. Since millions of pounds of clothes end up in landfills each year, anything that helps to alleviate that waste is admirable.
