'Hello Hipmunk' is the name of an artificially intelligent travel assistant that can be interacted with in a number of ways. There's 'Hello Email,' which makes it possible for users to direct travel questions to hello@hipmunk.com in order to receive an email with booking options that can be booked instantly. Alternatively, Hipmunk also offers 'Hello Calendar,' which is integrated with Google Calendar so that it can suggest flights and hotels when out-of-town events are found.

While Hello Hipmonk does do the job of a travel assistant, it is able to offer highly personalized travel recommendations much more readily than a human would be able to on a case-by-case basis.

Hello Hipmunk is now also optimized for conversational chats via Slack and Facebook Messenger as a bot.
