Poking cheeky fun at popular brands that we all know, graphic designer Clif Dickens began a Tumblr blog called ‘Honest Slogans’ that features famous logos and gives them hilarious slogans that somehow seem more fitting than the real thing -- all in good fun.

The new ‘Honest Slogans’ taglines are even more amusing with witty one-liner descriptions of the brands. The humorous makeup brand Maybelline slogan mocks the fact that all the women in the ads are airbrushed. The Volkswagen Honest Slogan reads “Girl Car," which is pretty much exactly what people think of the popular car manufacturer's Beetle design. All the new hilarious slogans are entertaining, they reflect the truth behind the popular brands and they will have you laughing and nodding in agreement.
