Drone Nerds, a subsidiary of XTI Aerospace, is expanding high-pressure cleaning drones with the addition of ABZ Innovation's C30 to its enterprise portfolio. The aircraft combines aerial movement with specialized pressure washing equipment, allowing operators to maintain elevated industrial surfaces that might otherwise require scaffolding or rope access.
The C30 features radar-assisted surface tracking and connects to compatible ground-based washing systems. Recommended equipment operates at approximately 7,250 psi, with water flow configurations of 15 or 30 liters per minute. Applications include cleaning bridges, steel structures, storage tanks, and heavy machinery, alongside removing coatings and rust when conditions permit.
For Drone Nerds, the addition broadens its industrial maintenance offerings and creates opportunities among infrastructure operators. By providing equipment, training, and ongoing support, the company could help enterprise customers establish and expand specialized aerial cleaning operations.
