The Hertz Penske GT is bound to make you reconsider the "economy" option the next time you're renting a car. This supercharged rental was created by Hertz and Penske Racing, the NASCAR team.
It is a hybrid of the Shelby GT500 Mustang and the Laguna Seca model. This rental is more of a racer, and it comes equipped with a new air intake and exhaust, a computer reflash and Brembo brakes.
Surprisingly, this isn't the first time Hertz has created a special Mustang. This happened before in 1966, 2006 and again in 2007. The Hertz Penske GT will be available for $180 a day or $800 a week. It will be offered at 15 Hertz airport locations around the country. Business trips will never be boring again.
