The Heroes of Science Action Figures Focuses on Real-Life Idols

The sci-fi and fantasy figurines lining toy store shelves may help to mold the imaginations of children, but these Heroes of Science Action Figures will show them that there are some real-life humans they can look up to as well. Of course, these toys are a result of some expert photoshopping (50 hours in total) and not the epiphany of some toy factory in China.

Designed by Australian digital artist Russell, also known as *datazoid at Deviant Art, the Heroes of Science Action Figures is made up of 30 characters including Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Alan Turing and even Neil deGrasse Tyson. Each of them were based on existing 'Star Trek' toys. Although they're not real, perhaps a company will take a chance and produce them.
