It's easy to think of white guys in t-shirts and sneakers when it comes to the tech world and yet photographer Helena Price has made it her mission to show the world that not everyone behind some of the largest innovations to date have Mark Zuckerberg's mop of curly brown hair or wears Steve Job's New Balances.
Through her portraits series, Techies, Helena Price captures a range of different people from women to Asians and everything in between. They also range in job titles including designers, engineers and product managers. These portraits now populate a website and are accompanied by such descriptions as, "I’m a Canadian queer artist/activist who went back to school at 30."
