Brandtech Group's Bias Breaker Produces More Diverse and Inclusive Images

AI is limited by the quality of its training data, which can lead to biases, lack of diversity and poor representation, leading Brandtech Group to develop a proprietary tool called Bias Breaker to enhance GenAI prompts with “probability-backed inclusivity."

With this tool integrated with Brandtech’s gen-AI marketing platform Pencil, simple prompts from users are made more sophisticated with details like age, race and gender to deliver better results from image-generation models. According to Brandtech, Bias Breaker provides “positive bias” to a range of diversity and intersectionality lacking in current models. For instance, Brandtech found that when prompted for a “CEO," two models showed 100% male-led images in 100 generations, while another showed 98% male.
