'Hedonismo' is a twisted and curious editorial featured in the latest edition of Revista Remix, an Argentina-based fashion magazine. The series looks like real-life photography in some images while others look painted. Indeed, each shot captures a real model but the artistic editing is what makes it so startling.
Each photo shows a model in fashionable clothes, but unlike regular fashion editorials, their faces or bodies are contorted, looking like something out of the 2006 Spanish film 'Pan's Labyrinth.' One image features a man with many faces and extended fingers, another shows a topless man bending backwards just like comic book superhero 'Mister Fantastic' would.
The imagery is memorable and intense, which means Revista Remix's audience will focus on the clothing presented on the models as they try to make sense of it all. It's an interesting selling tactic.
